Dadra & Nagar Haveli

Dadra and Nagar Haveli is a Union Territory on the west coast of India to the north of the city of Mumbai. It is richly endowed with nature's bounty. It is a land of spell-binding beauty and houses lush green forests, winding rivers, unimaginable waterfronts and distant dotting mountain ranges. Dadra and Nagar Haveli is located on the western side of the foot hills of western ghats and has an undulating terrain. Forty percent of the total geographical area of 491 sq. kms is covered with forests and thus offers it a look of woodland. The Union Territory has a population of 2.20 lakh as per the 2001 census, out of which, tribals form a major chunk of 62 percent.
